A short video on the Beautiful Beni Bajaar and Myagdi!

Luck was on our side as the Sixth Beni Festival coincided with our two days stay. The carnivals perfectly demonstrated the diversity of culture and religion in Beni and how they co-exist in such hamrony as Newa Processions were followed by Muslim group who were just ahead of the Local Christian Bhajan Mandali.

Beni meaning the place where two rivers meet, is the headquarters of Myagdi District and lies at the confluence of Kali Gandaki River and Myagi River. It is also famous as the birth place of Ravan of the Lanka, and for Pulashram temple where lord Parshuram was believed to have stayed.

Beni isn't just another stop on the way to Mustang. This cozy municipality is rich in cultural diversity and offers some spectacular views. The people are friendly and the town offers so much more.
