Well, here we are with Rara Lake again. This time around though, things are a bit different. We took a different route, from Surkhet. On our way, we visited the archeological site of Kakrebihar, a 12th century Temple, enjoyed the view of Surkhet Valley from Batase Dada, visited Bulbule Taal and spent a few good days in Birendranagar.

Thanks to Kshitiz Budha, one of our local friends from Mugu, we visited the beautiful Murma village and had some intricate interactions with the locals and their daily chores.

If you planning a travel to Nepal, Rara lake is one of the must visit places in Nepal. And if you ever visit Rara, we urge you to visit Murma village too.

Day 1 Ktm-Butwal-Kohalpul-Surkhet (drive)
Day 2 Surkhet -Cheda view - Bulbule tal - Kakre bihar and Overnight
Day 3 Surkhet -Gurase- Dailekh- Manma, Kalikot - Nagma
Day 4 Nagma - Gothijula- Huttu Mugu(drive)- Salleri (trek)
Day 5 Salleri to Rara trek
Day 6 Rara - Murma village - Murma top - Talcha airport
Day 7 Talcha airport - Nepalgunj (fly) - Kathmandu
